McLarty, the niece of Bill Clinton's former White House chief of staff Mack McLarty, is an entertainment reporter at LA's CBS2/KCAL9. Before going to LA, McLarty worked as a TV reporter and correspondent in Dallas and in Little Rock, Arkansas, where her family is originally from.

According to her CBS2 biography, the NYU grad has interviewed Bill Clinton, Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, Diane Sawyer, Clint Eastwood, Warren Beatty and Annette Benning, and in her free time she "enjoys cooking, reading, checking out the local farmers markets, and tending to her 4-year-old Basset Hound."

Then you have her finance, Joe Francis, founder of Mantra Films. His footage of young girls flashing their breasts is the basis of his enormously successful Girls Gone Wild. Although he also created a Guys Gone Wild, it's the Girls Gone Wild that everyone takes note of. This, in part, because there have been accusations that some of the females depicted were minors or did not agree to being filmed. Joe Francis has spent time in jail and has pleaded no contest to child abuse and prostitution charges. Joe Francis, himself, has been the victim of sexual humiliation and extortion. The IRS has accused him of owing unpaid taxes. And that's just to name a few.

With all the buzz about Christina McLarty marrying a guy with a colorful past, not much has been written about their specific wedding plans

Joe Francis has such a colorful past that few have talked about what McLarty and Francis have decided, an honorable decision in favor of the GLBT community. They will not be getting married in the traditional sense but will have a civil domestic partnership. "We don't believe it's appropriate to be married until our gay and lesbian friends are afforded the same rights as us to legally marry in the United States," says Francis.
