Dirty Driving: The Thundercars of Indiana

HBO has been running a new documentary called Dirty driving, and details the trials and tribulations of the city of Anderson, Indiana. The small town in the Midwest has lost thousands of jobs due to the loss of General Motors, Firestone and plants, and the few jobs available are in the range of minimum wage. The city is a fan of their careers, however, and every Friday night, residents of Anderson presented the track to see the neighbors as Sammy Hawkins on the short oval. Thundercars NASCAR is part and part demolition derby, with a healthy dose of fist fight in the pits.

Anderson Speedway used to be known as the world's steepest banked quarter mile track, but now it's known as the location of an HBO documentary. We haven't seen Dirty Driving, but we have it on good authority that it's worth watching.
